IV. Timing Regulations
1. Checkpoint check-in: all runners need to have their timing chip (in bracelet) scanned at each corresponding CP. If any CP is missed, runner will be disqualified and results made invalid.
2. DaFeng Summit timing arrangements: Due to the limited space atop the peak and to avoid a line from forming, all 60k and 42k runners will need to pick up a silicone timing chip wristband (one per person) atop the summit. Once you've descended down to the CP at the base of DaFeng, there you will need to ensure your chip is scanned.
3. If during the race, a runner drops out due to any reason or is cut off due to closing time, that runner must forfeit one of the two large bin numbers and finish result will be invalid.
4. For safety reasons, the organizing committee has set closing times (see Appendix) for each CP. If a runner has not passed a CP by its corresponding closing time, these participants are disqualified and their results are invalid.
V. Gear storage:
Participants can store personal items in a bag stored at the starting point, but do not store valuables in the package (such as mobile phones, identity documents, cash, credit cards, keys, etc.). Runners should collect bags upon race completion (show your race bib to verify your bag). Large items/luggage can be stored in the luggage office. If you do not collect your bags immediately after the race for any reason, you can receive it the next day from the event organizers. If any bags aren't claimed within three days, the organizing committee will donate or otherwise dispose of the goods.
VI. Prizes and awards:
Every athlete who completes the race, who upon turning over both large race bibs, will receive a medal and finisher’s certificate. Those who drop out or who are cut off by time limits and can only present one race bib, these participants will receive only a souvenir.
VII. Aid station arrangements:
Aid stations on the course will offer a variety of food and drinks. Athletes are free to consume these provisions. First aid services will be available at the main station (which one is this?-Just one cp at start or others?) and emergency rescue services are available throughout the race at any point if necessary.
